L –building closed 25.-27.1.2013

Both the gym and the hall are closed and the steady turns cancelled during the coming weekend (25.1. from 16 o´clock to 27.1. midnight).

TAMK Sports will be renewed!

TAMK Sports will be renewed by publishing all-new webpages on the 21^st of January. Also a new reservation system for the sports lessons will be launched on the 4^th of February.

TAMK Sports offers an opportunity for everyone to try out different team sport lessons  free of charge and without advance registration. Come and see for yourself!

After the payment of the TAMK Sports fee you will be granted personal access codes to the group gymnastics reservation system. Then you can reserve a place for lessons you are interested of. In the future it is required to make a reservation to every lesson through the reservation system. You will find more information and instructions from the new upcoming webpages which will be published 21.1.2013.

By paying the TAMK Sports fee you are given access to the L-building (gym and hall, Kuntokatu 4 gym and keep-fit classes, FinnMedi Delta’s gym + Elixia Kaleva Xyckling+Kettlebell lessons) and allowed to take part in all team sport lessons provided by TAMK. Also sport lessons provided by Unipoli are free of charge.

Notice that lessons marked with a WIRE-tag are only for staff. Information regarding WIRE lessons are or will be informed by WIRE messages through TAMK Intra.

FinnMedi Delta’s gym shifts will begin on week 4, 21.1.2013.

During January you can go and try different possibilities, also those not yet payed the sports fee. No pre signing in needed now.  Later those who have or will have the fee payed will get access to reserve weekly a place to a suitable group. Please follow TAMK intra and this page in this and the following week to see more info!
Please note that the groups marked with "wire" are only for the staff and informed differently in TAMK intra.

TAMK Sports for students and staff


Taking part in group gymnastics is free of charge to the end of January to see the variety of groups. It is possible to get to see the facilities as well by setting an appointment with TAMK Sports contact person or a tutor student. From the beginning of February to be able to use the facilities and go in to the groups you have to pay the fee of 20 € / Tamko member student and 30 € / other students and staff members. The fee is valid to the end of September 2013.


The gym in the L -building open from 8 - 22. No individual reservations possible.The gym in FinnMedi Delta (U) open on mondays and thursdays 16 - 20 (sign in in advance). Available turns in the gymnasiums (building L and S) can be reserved via online system called Reska (in TAMK intra)

TAMK Sports fee

By paying the TAMK Sports fee you are given the access to L –building and allowed to take part in to the group gymnastics (see the weekly program in SCHEDULES). Instructions for paying:

Members of Tamko (The Students’ Union of TAMK):

• 20 €/person/term (valid until the end of September 2013)
• Payment at the Tamko office - access to the facilities and a sports sticker

Other TAMK students

• 30 €/ person/term (valid to the end of September 2013)
• Payment at TAMK Kuntokatu 3 info. NOTICE! For the security reasons only card payments accepted, no cash! After payment, access to the facilities and a sports sticker.

Staff

•  30 €/ person/term (valid to the end of September 2013)

·         Staff located in Kuntokatu 3 – in Kuntokatu 3 info: sign your name on the list and the payment will be taken of your next month´s salary  (November at earliest) – the sports sticker and access to the sports facilities in L-building will be given

·         Staff located in Kuntokatu 4 – in Kuntokatu 4 info: sign your name on the list and the payment will be taken of your next month´s salary (November at earliest) – the sports sticker and access to the sports facilities in L-building will be given

·          Staff in other TAMK units – either in Kuntokatu 3 or 4 info: sign your name on the list and the payment will be taken of your next month´s salary  (November at earliest) – the sports sticker and access to the sports facilities in L-building will be given

The fixed (permanent) turns in the gymnasium of L-building and Kuntokatu 4 (R1-04)

• 1 h/week: 50 €/spring term (users have to pay the personal fee as well)
  
  The invoice will be sent to the contact person of the turn. The turns are to be used only by the TAMK students or staff if something else has not been agreed. The contact person of the turn is responsible for the use of the turn. There might be some cancellations of turns, but in those cases the fee is not returned.
• The sports fee can be paid by any student or staff member in TAMK. By paying the fee you are allowed to take part in the TAMK group gymnastics and Unipoli sports lessons + access to the sports facilities in Kuntokatu campus. In rented facilities (other units) the activities will carry on as before

The paid sports fee is returned only if a person according to a doctors´s statement is not able to attend the sports for a two- month-period during one semester.

Those who have payed the TAMK sports fee can use the  L -building fasilities as usual every day from 7.30 till 22.00.
